Improve the look of stained, chipped or misaligned teeth with veneers…

What are veneers?

A veneer is either a porcelain or composite (similar to white filling material) facing on the front of your teeth, just like a false finger nail. They are used primarily for cosmetic reasons.

Veneers can make teeth look natural and healthy, improving their colour, shape and position. As they are very thin and are held in place by a special strong bonding agent, very little preparation of the tooth is needed.

In conjunction with our technicians, we can provide a shade of porcelain to give the right colour and improve a single discoloured or stained tooth or lighten the front teeth generally.

Veneers can also be used to close small gaps, when orthodontics (braces) are not suitable. For example, if one tooth is slightly out of position, a veneer can sometimes be fitted to bring it into line with the others.

Porcelain crowns

In some cases it is not possible to bond veneers to your teeth usually because there is not enough tooth structure left. We use pure porcelain crowns instead, which can be fully bonded to the tooth.

These crowns are made entirely out of porcelain and can look very natural and are most often used for front teeth so you are still able to achieve a great smile!
